For more than 20 years, I’ve worked inside businesses — leading teams, navigating change and helping people and organisations grow.
My background spans psychology, management and adult education, alongside more than 20 years across leadership, operations and commercial business. I’ve led teams around the world, trained and developed leaders, and spent years alongside founders navigating growth, people and change.
But experience has taught me something else too.
I know what it feels like to carry responsibility. To be the only woman in the room. To feel misunderstood or undervalued, and to work harder than you probably should to prove that you belong there.
And I know the difference it makes when you find the right people around you.
The right women changed everything for me.
At different points in my career and life, having experienced, smart and compassionate women around me made the biggest difference. They gave me perspective, challenged me, backed me, and helped me recognise when I’d become caught up in other people’s ideas of ambition and success.
Those conversations helped me find my way back to what mattered to me. And they became a big part of why I created FemPowered. I wanted to create the kind of space that had made such a difference to me.
Somewhere women could step away from the noise, be completely honest, get experienced perspective and work out what success actually looks like for them.

I bring commercial experience, psychology, instinct and a deep understanding of people to the work I do. One of my strengths is taking the ideas, passion, people problems and competing priorities inside a business and turning them into clarity, structure and a plan.
But I don’t start by telling you what I think you should do. I listen. I ask questions. I challenge when it’s useful. And I take the time to understand what actually matters to you. There’s no judgement and no expectation that you arrive with all the answers.
We start with what’s true, work out what matters, and create a way forward from there.
Success should feel good along the way.
I used to think about success much more in terms of where I was going. Now I think just as much about how life feels along the way — because the journey is your life.
I believe you can be ambitious, build something meaningful and make an impact without losing sight of yourself in the process. That’s what I want FemPowered to help women do. I hope to see you inside our community soon.
